Summary:A hydraulic manifold is a device used to divide liquid flow into multiple actuating units according to a specified ratio. Its primary function is to achieve multi-channel hydraulic power output through flow diversion in the hydraulic circuit, and it is widely used in construction machinery, agricultural machinery, engineering machinery, marine machinery, and other fields.

Function and Principle of Hydraulic Diverters

I. Function of the Hydraulic Divider

A hydraulic manifold is a device used to divide liquid flow into multiple actuating units according to a specified ratio. Its primary function is to achieve multi-channel hydraulic power output through flow diversion in the hydraulic circuit, and it is widely used in construction machinery, agricultural machinery, engineering machinery, marine machinery, and other fields.

The primary function of a hydraulic manifold is to split the oil flow, thereby distributing the flow from a single pump to different actuators so that they can perform multiple functions simultaneously. For example, in an excavator, where several hydraulically powered cylinders driven by the engine must operate at the same time, the hydraulic manifold divides the flow from the pump according to a predetermined ratio and directs it to the respective cylinders, ensuring that the excavator can execute multiple operations concurrently.

II. Principle of the Hydraulic Divider

The operating principle of a hydraulic manifold is remarkably simple: it is achieved by configuring separate oil circuits and valves. Inside the manifold, a main valve and multiple distribution valves are installed. The main valve regulates the overall flow through the manifold, while the distribution valves control the flow in individual oil circuits. Because each distribution valve is equipped with its own independent adjustment mechanism, the flow rate in each circuit can be precisely adjusted as needed, thereby enabling accurate hydraulic control.

The operating principle of a hydraulic manifold is as follows: when fluid enters the main valve, the main valve divides the total flow of the hydraulic circuit into multiple distinct branches and adjusts the flow in each branch via its corresponding control valves, thereby ensuring precise regulation of the flow rate in each circuit and enabling the fluid to return to the hydraulic cylinders to perform the desired actuation. The hydraulic manifold itself boasts high precision and stability, allowing it to deliver superior performance across a wide range of applications.
