Working Principle of the European-Style Rotary Crushing Clamp Splitter
2026-03-19
According to publicly available information, the operating principles of the following two types of equipment are respectively related to the “European-style rotary crushing clamp” or the “diverter”:
1. European-style rotary crushing clamp (an excavator attachment)
The movable jaw performs an opening-and-closing motion relative to the fixed jaw, driven by a hydraulic system.
The crushing teeth wedge and pulverize materials such as concrete during the biting process.
Equipped with a built-in rebar cutter, it can simultaneously cut exposed reinforcing bars, enabling the separation and recycling of concrete and rebar.
2. Diverters (fluid handling equipment)
When referring to a cyclonic centrifugal separator or a cyclone, its operating principle is as follows:
The feed liquid enters the cyclone chamber through a tangential inlet, generating a high-speed rotating flow field.
By leveraging centrifugal force and density differences, the heavy phase (such as solid particles) settles toward the outer wall, while the light phase accumulates at the center.
They are discharged through separate outlets to achieve solid–liquid or liquid–liquid separation.
